Great Deal on Great Product

Passed on the factory hitch (Price!), Checked a few internet sites and ebay. Amazon had the best price. This unit works great and is easy to install. It took about 15 minutes total, that's with removing the jeep's bumper mounting bolts. Heavy duty construction. CAUTION be careful removing hitch from shipping materials. Mine arrived with burrs that were very sharp and cut deeply into my hand. Once the bleeding stopped installation was a breeze.

Great for price, not as pictured

This hitch is almost exactly like the OE hitch except without the price! High quality, easy installation. However, the picture shows the nuts welded to the hitch. The hitch I received did not have welded nuts. Installation was still not that difficult (2011 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara), but I had to use tape to hold the nuts in place to get them started on the bolts.

Great alternative to OEM parts!

With the exception of the glossy powder-coat finish, this is an identical replica of the OEM Mopar receiver hitch... and costs 1/2 the price!! The picture shows welded nuts on the hitch, but they are not welded - FYI, this was not a big deal but did require me to remove the rear bumper to install. This hitch is solidly built, and lines up perfectly with the pre-drilled holes in the rear of the frame. RECCOMENDATION: I installed this on a 2010 JK 4-door. For me, the easiest way to install this was to remove the rear bumper. With the bumper installed, the mounting bolts could only be inserted in one direction. Unfortunately, this left a very small space (roughly 1/2") to squeeze a nut, washer, my hand and a wrench. Removing the rear bumper took 5 minutes and a 3/4" socket. It was very easy to do and was worth the extra 5 minutes of work!

To install the hitch you will need both standard and metric wrenches/sockets (18mm and 5/8").
